Amboseli

Amboseli National Park provides one of Africa’s most recognizable safari backdrops: gigantic herds of tuskers grazing across acacia-dotted plains with Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the distance. Centered around dry Pleistocene lake beds and permanent freshwater swamps fed by subterranean mountain runoff, the park sustains hippos, pelicans, lions, and over 400 bird species.
